Flamencore is truly for everyone. Through Rhina’s thoughtfully designed curriculum and individualized teaching style, she provides unique support for every student’s journey. She helped me activate muscles I didn’t even know I had, using them to improve my flamenco posture and release deep-seated tension. For anyone who spends their day at a desk, Rhina’s expertise in unlocking the hips brings a sense of freedom that carries over into everyday life.

After only a few classes I already noticed significant positive changes to my resting posture, less neck and shoulder tension, and my typical forward shoulder position started to improve from the engagement of muscles that I had never intentionally activated before. I even had some people commenting that I looked taller!

Even more exciting, I definitely feel that these classes have improved my baile tremendously. My flamenco postures and movements feel stronger and at the same time more effortless. I can’t wait to keep going with Rhina’s classes to see what further improvements occur! 

Rhina is an incredible teacher and has a great gift in being able to personalize the learning experience for each student. She is able to identify each of our specific areas of concern and has very effective methods of communicating and assisting us with how to improve these areas.

At age 81, I started taking FLAMENCORE classes. Many people have commented that my posture is improving. I am starting to get the “Triple-core” habit – periodically throughout the day I think “lower core in, middle core up, lats engaged and shoulder blade down”. Then my shoulders relax and my neck gets loose and my walking gets more energy. It is an amazing technique and Rhina is a great teacher.

Flamencore has been an amazing tool to bring awareness to my core beyond the classes, and with elements like triple core, I have seen improvement in my posture and balance.

FLAMENCORE is ideal for flamenco dancers, but it’s truly for anyone who wants to build core strength, balance, agility and focus. Rhina has shown me how to activate and strengthen long-neglected muscles, like my latissimus dorsi, serratus anterior and rotator cuff. Since I started taking her FLAMENCORE classes, my posture, braceo and floreo have improved. FLAMENCORE is the antidote to crouching over a computer and looking down at a phone screen.
